What Is Playgroup?
Playgroup is a safe, fun, and exciting environment where children can come together to play, explore, and learn.
Each week, we offer a variety of engaging activities such as:
- Building
- Water play
- Sensory experiences
- Imaginative play
- Arts and crafts
- Outdoor play
We always take time to come together on the mat for a shared snack — a lovely opportunity to recharge and build a sense of belonging.
We finish every session with group time on the mat to sing songs, read a story, or have a dance — it’s everyone’s favourite part of the day! Our beloved playgroup mascot, Mr Bumble Bee, even comes out to say hello and join in the fun.
Playgroup helps set children up to be social, independent, and confident — all essential skills as they prepare for child care, kindergarten, and school.
Of course, playgroup isn’t just for the children. It’s also a special time for parents, carers, and families to relax, connect, and share stories over a cuppa. Many of our families have formed wonderful friendships and often meet up outside of playgroup for more play and connection.
